Attorney Profile
I am a native of Swansboro North Carolina,
which is a quaint fishing village on our coast set in between
Jacksonville
and Morehead
City.
I graduated from Swansboro
High School in 1996 and I moved to
Wilmington, and attended the
University of North Carolina
at Wilmington
where I received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science in 2000.
In 2003 I entered the Albert L. Turner School of Law at
North Carolina Central
University in
Durham.
I graduated in 2006 with a Juris Doctor.
During law school I relocated my family to Atkinson,
Pender County.
I opened up my Law Practice there in 2008.
My three kids and I love the small town atmosphere and the
close proximity to everything.
As an attorney I am committed to being fair and honest
to my clients, and to the Court.
I strive to never, over promise and always do what I say I
will. As your attorney I
will work hard to achieve the best results for your situation.
I live and work in Atkinson.
A VERY small town, which I love.
However, due to its small size and the fact that I am the only
attorney I have a general practice.
While I don’t practice everything—such as family law I do have
a fairly diverse practice.
I work in both Pender and New
Hanover Counties.
As a small town lawyer I handle traffic matters such as
speeding tickets, driving on a revoked license, DUIs and BUIs (boating
while under the influence).
I also do criminal defense work in Pender and
New
Hanover Counties.
I write wills and do estate probate and administration
and planning.
I also handle some business law issues such as
incorporations, LLC’s and drafting contracts, mechanics and
materialmens liens as well.
I can also do Social Security Disability Law.
I also frequently work as a sellers or buyers attorney for Real
Estate transactions.
